ALTAR MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is designed to provide assistance and comfort to people who come to receive prayer. This ministry is reserved for women only.

AUDIO & PRODUCTION MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to provide excellence in sound so that the Word of God, music, and announcements are heard with clarity and excellence. This ministry captures all worship services on video for live streaming and television production.

DRAMA MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to portray life, character or tell a story involving conflicts and victims that seem defeated but through the Word of God result in having victory.

GREETERS MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to greet people as they enter the doors with the compassion of Jesus.

HELPING HANDS

The purpose of the ministry is to provide assistants to individuals who may need help with meals, light housecleaning, and new mothers. These individuals are those who are experiencing a temporary hardship.

HOSPITALITY/FOOD PREPARATION

The purpose of the ministry is to make sure food is prepared, hot, and ready for special guest and the ministry for all Special Events as needed. This ministry also provides special care to members that have experienced bereavement, post partum and hospitalization care should circumstances deem necessary.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to cover our Pastors, First Family, staff, ministry and the needs of our members in prayer. To intercede on behalf of others for God’s will to be done.

INTERNET MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to assist with streaming live our services and assist with other relations as needed.

MUSIC MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to bring people into praise and worship of the Father, through anointed music.

ORDINANCE MINISTRY (BAPTISMAL)

The purpose of this ministry is to assists with the check in and preparation of candidates that desire to be baptized.

OUTREACH MINISTRY

The purpose of the ministry is to minister to those individuals that are;
In the convalescent homes, tract attacks, and annual events.

PARKING LOT ATTENDANT

The purpose of the ministry is to welcome guest as they arrive in the parking lot and assist with locating parking spaces.

PASTORAL ASSISTANTS (PAs)

The purpose of this ministry is to support our Pastors as they carry out ministry functions, cover them with constant prayer, assist with their personal needs and always be watchful while on and off post.

PERSONAL MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to meet the needs of the harvest, by ministering Salvation, Holy Spirit, Membership, Rededication, and prayer.

PRAISE DANCE MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to prepare the hearts of the people to hear and receive the Word of God through the ministry of Praise Dance.

PROMISE LAND (Children’s Ministry)

Our children’s ministry is an extension of Dr. Fred Hodge’s vision to build children of Purpose, Power, and Praise. We give our children a tangible experience of all the promise’s God has for us as believers. The Promise Land Children’s Ministry is made up of “Love Town & “Fun City.”

Love Town:
Our nursery, called “Love Town,” ministers to the youngest of our membership, ages 1 – 4 years old. Love Town is open during all normal service times.

Fun City:
Our children’s ministry, called “Fun City,” is a dynamic and fun-filled approach to teaching children ages 5 – 12 the word of God. “Fun City” is open 2nd through 5th Sundays.

RESOURCE CENTER MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to provide the teaching of the Word on God on CD, DVD or Book.

SECURITY

The purpose of this ministry is to provided safety and security for our Pastor, Members and Guests during worship services, Bible studies and special services & events.

SIGN INTERPRETER MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to minister to the hearing impaired through sign language to ensure all are receiving the Word of God that is being ministered.

USHER MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to welcome and greet people with the compassion of Jesus to their seats in an organized matter; to assist in the prayer line during altar ministry; to pass the envelopes, handouts and offering buckets; to assist Pastor during the appeal; to assist with the Communion and other events as needed.

VISION SCREEN MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to ensure everyone enjoys and is able to see the praise text, faith confessions and scriptures on the screens.

YOUTH MINISTRY “ROCK NOW”

Our Mandate: Matthew 16:18…upon this ROCK I will build my church. This generation is the ROCK that Christ needs to continue to build HIS church upon. NOW dictates to the urgency in which this must be accomplished. ROCK NOW is an answer to the call to correct the current distortion of Christianity among our teens by reintroducing the real and relevant Christ to our young people and witness the spiritual revolution of an entire generation.
Our Mission: According to Ephesians 4:14 ROCKNOW will “equip this generation with the truth and help them grow in the knowledge about God’s son until they become mature, until they measure up to Christ who is the standard.
Our Method: ROCKNOW will change the lives of this teen generation by employing a simple process of Redemption, Relationship & Restoration.
